 Mohammed Shami is an Indian international cricketer who plays as a right-arm fast bowler born on September 3, 1990, in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. Shami's journey in cricket began as a domestic cricketer where he represented Bengal in the Ranji Trophy.

Shami is known for his exceptional pace bowling and ability to swing the ball in both ways. Shami's early international career came during the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. He played a crucial role in India's campaign, finishing as the team's highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 17 wickets. His ability to bowl well in the death overs and provide crucial breakthroughs made him an integral part of the Indian limited-overs setup. 

In Test cricket, Shami has been a vital component of the Indian bowling attack, forming potent partnerships with other fast bowlers like Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah.
